Fleeting Peony

My love of motion found its way into this piece, though subtle. I imagined a billowing curtain from a window left open, and the peony releasing its petals with the movement. The creases of the fabric illustrate the most painterly look that I love. There is a hint of her coming undone, in a way that is both romantic and delicate, inviting gentleness into a space.
